Head Of Product Development Long-term Care (ltc) at Assura

Chris Baeriswyl has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Chris started their career as an apprentice at La Mobilière and worked their way up to various roles within the company, including Assistant Head of Pension Fund and Assistant Head of Middle Market. Chris also served as the Liaison Officer at the EU Desk in Cologne, where they collaborated with partner companies to manage policies for European SME and industrial customers. Chris later worked as the Innovation Scout at the Outpost Silicon Valley, researching technology and customer experience trends and advising senior management on a digitalization program. Chris then joined Eurapco as an International Project Manager, representing Switzerland and La Mobilière. In this role, they worked with C-level and senior management delegates of member companies to identify synergies, manage European projects, and create an Innovation Lab. Currently, Chris is working at Assura as the Head of Product Development in Long-Term Care, where they are involved in developing alternative insurance models and designing new patient journeys.

Chris Baeriswyl attended the Wirtschafts- und Kaderschule in Bern from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a high school diploma with a field of study in Swiss federal vocational baccalaureate in commerce. Chris then enrolled at the School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR) from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Continuing their education, Chris obtained a Master's Degree in Sales Management (M.Sc.) from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2013 to 2017. In 2014, they briefly attended Pfeiffer University for a summer conference on Business Strategy.
