Jay Shelton

Jay Shelton has a diverse background in risk management and executive leadership. Jay started their career at Trinity Industries, where they served as the Division Manager of EHS/HR, overseeing risk for seven railcar manufacturing facilities. Jay then worked at Jays Foods as the Loss Control Manager, responsible for insurance, fleet, and EH&S programs. After that, they joined InterPark as the Risk Programs Manager, leading risk management efforts for a leading parking real estate company. Currently, Jay holds the role of Senior Vice President of Executive Risk at Assurance, where they provide quality customer service and manages internal risk programs. With extensive experience in risk management and a track record of success, Jay Shelton is a valuable asset to any organization.

Jay Shelton attended Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from 2018 to 2019, where they completed the Chubb Cyber Cope Insurance Certification Program in Cyber Security. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business from 2003 to 2005. In 1992, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Cyber Risk from The Institutes and Professional Insurance Fundamentals from the Professional Lines Underwriting Society. Jay also holds a Property & Casualty Producer License from Indiana.
