Shannon Blakely

Shannon Blakely has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Shannon currently holds the position of Ohio Regional Admissions Manager at Assurance Health System since April 2021. Prior to this, Shannon served as the Regional Director of Business Development at Embassy Healthcare from 2019 to March 2021.

From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Kindred at Home as a Regional Account Executive, achieving significant growth and consistently ranking in the top 13% of sales professionals. Before that, they held the role of Regional Marketing Director at Atrium Centers in 2014, where they successfully increased the ADC from 81 to 113 within three months.

Shannon also served as the Marketing Director at Embassy Healthcare from 2012 to 2014, where they built key partnerships and implemented a grassroots community marketing plan. Prior to that, they worked as the Marketing Director at Tutera Family Communities from 2010 to 2012, expanding territory and increasing community exposure through hosted events.

In their early career, Shannon worked at the American Cancer Society as a Regional Patient Navigation Service Representative from 2005 to 2010, successfully fundraising over $1.5 million annually through major events. Before that, they held the position of Executive Legal Secretary at the City of Rockford Illinois from 1996 to 2005, and as a Legal Secretary at Winnebago County from 1989 to 1996.

Shannon Blakely obtained their education from various institutions. Shannon studied at Rock Valley College from 2005 to 2008, receiving an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they attended Southern New Hampshire University and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. Building upon their undergraduate education, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare at the same university from 2019 to 2021.
