Spencer Shefchik

Spencer Shefchik has a diverse work experience. Spencer started their career as a Usability Study Researcher at STEM Fellowship, where they provided assessments of various websites and contributed to the development of NKUcraft and Canvas. Spencer then worked at Minjas as a Vice President, managing the student group and organizing charity events. At Northern Kentucky University Digitorium, they served as an Event Support Specialist, handling event management, equipment maintenance, and audio engineering. Spencer also worked at Northern Kentucky University in various roles, including NKUcraft Administration, Event Technician, and Teaching Assistant. At K&R Software, they worked as a Front End Developer and Contractor, focusing on Ruby on Rails based projects. Spencer then joined Bit By Bit Repair as a Lead Web Developer and software developer, where they worked on various projects such as automation applications and client management. Most recently, they worked at Illumination Works as a Consultant, specializing in front-end development with an Angular/Java + Spring stack. Currently, they are working as a Configuration Engineer Principal at AssureCare LLC.

Spencer Shefchik attended Northern Kentucky University from 2010 to 2016, where they obtained a Diploma in Media Informatics and Information Technology. Spencer also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from the same university, completing it in 2014.
