Afik Gal MD MBA

Afik Gal, MD,MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Afik is currently the Co-Owner of ChocAllure, a chocolate company that specializes in creating exquisite chocolate treats. Previously, they co-founded and served as the President of AssuredAllies.

Prior to this, Afik held the position of Vice President of Product Innovation at eviCore healthcare, a role which they also held at QPID Health before the acquisition. Afik was responsible for driving product innovation at these companies.

Afik also worked at PwC Consulting as a Manager in Healthcare Innovation and Healthcare Incubation Lab. Afik'swork focused on combining technology and business changes in healthcare, with a particular emphasis on strategy, business model innovation, and data monetization for enterprise clients.

Additionally, Afik has a strong academic background, having obtained their MBA in Health Sector Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Afik was recognized as a Fuqua Scholar and received a merit scholarship and the James R. Felts Memorial Scholarship for their excellent academic achievements.

Before their MBA, Afik gained experience as a Senior Associate intern in Healthcare Advisory at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants. Afik also worked as an Intern at MedVentive, focusing on healthcare analytics and software development consulting.

Furthermore, Afik has been involved in entrepreneurship, having founded their own consulting firm, AfikGal.com. Afik provided healthcare analytics, software development, and data mining consulting services to clients such as SAP, HP, and Amdocs. Afik also founded Dr.Qure, a medical analytics startup where they served as the Founder and CTO. Afik led a team in developing a self-diagnosis system using clinical knowledge mining and Bayesian models of clinical experience.

Afik Gal, MD, MBA, completed their education in a chronological sequence. Afik began their academic journey at HaReali Haivri, where they studied from 1985 to 1997. However, the specific degree and field of study obtained during this time are unknown.
