Oleg Groshev

Technical Senior Lead / Project Manager at Assystem

Oleg Groshev has a wide range of experience in the nuclear power industry, starting as a Shift Supervisor and Senior Engineer/Control Room Operator at Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant. Oleg then transitioned to a role as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager at the Engineer Technical Centre for NPP Personnel Training, where they oversaw Full Scope Simulator projects and developed training documentation. Oleg then took on the role of Head of the Engineering and Technical Support Department at the Nuclear Power Plant Operation Support Institute, where they managed projects and provided technical and organizational assistance. Oleg later became Deputy Director at the Joint Support Office for the Management of the EC INSC Programme in Ukraine, overseeing the identification, preparation, and implementation of nuclear safety projects. Oleg then worked as a Senior Expert/Leader of project at RWE Technology International GmbH in Germany, where they managed projects and developed a Computer Aided Training and Qualification Control System for NPP Personnel Training. Oleg also worked as a Senior Technical Expert at Enconet Consulting Ges.m.b.H in Austria, providing services for the implementation of a European Commission project. Most recently, Oleg served as a Marketing Director at BROTYPE and a Technical Senior Lead/Project Manager at Assystem, where they provided owner engineering and technical support during the construction and commissioning of a nuclear power plant.

Oleg Groshev obtained their Diploma/Master's level equivalent in Nuclear Power Installations and Facilities/Heat and Power Engineering from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, during the years 1982-1988. In 2006, they pursued a course in Equipment Qualification/Seismic Qualification Testing at Tecnatom, S.A. in Spain. In 2000, they completed a program in Advanced English at Columbia Howard County College in Columbia, MD, USA. Additionally, they studied Full Scope Simulator Technology at S3Technologies in Columbia, MD, USA, from 1995-1996 and Systematic Approach to Training Methodology at General Physics in Aiken, NC, USA, in 1994.
