Rahul Gopinath

Rahul Gopinath is an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer currently working with Assystem since January 2023, focusing on the commissioning of electrical systems for the NNB Hinkley Point C nuclear project. Prior to this role, Rahul served as an Electrical Design Engineer at Furnace Fabrica from March 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included designing high and low voltage substations for the Calcination NALCO Aluminum Refinery, in collaboration with Thyssenkrupp and NALCO India. From July 2017 to January 2020, Rahul worked as an Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer for high voltage and low voltage systems on an EPC project for OCP Morocco, and earlier, from October 2014 to January 2017, engaged in similar roles for OIL India Ltd. Educationally, Rahul holds a Master's degree in Electrical Power from Newcastle University, obtained from September 2021 to August 2022.
