James de Vroome

James de Vroome has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically within the Maritime, Land, and Aeronautical sectors. James has held several senior positions in large companies such as SpecTec Asia Pacific, Pivotel Satellite Australia Pty Ltd, Xantic B. V, Telstra MS&RS, OTC Maritime, Globalstar Australia, and Applied Satellite Technology Ltd. James joined AST Australia in September 2019 as the Head of Regional Sales & Operations for Australia and the Pacific. In August 2019, they also became the Vice President of AST Asia Pacific. James'srole at AST Australia ended in June 2022.

James de Vroome attended Modbury, Craigemore High School, and Roermond TCS for their early education. James then pursued higher education at the University of New South Wales, where they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Later, they enrolled at the University of Southern Queensland. It is unclear if they completed a degree at any of these institutions, but they did acquire expertise in GMDSS Gazetted Marine Surveyor.
