Daniel López Rodrigo

Daniel López Rodrigo serves as a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer at AST SpaceMobile since December 2020, leading the mechanical aspects of the Phased Array and Micron subsystems for space satellites, overseeing system architecture and the development of various components from inception to flight. Prior experience includes roles at Airbus from January 2016 to December 2020, where responsibilities spanned mechanisms and mechanical engineering for projects like the Ice Cloud Imager and Copernicus Imaging Microwave Radiometer. Daniel's background also includes a position as a Visiting Researcher at Tokyo Institute of Technology, a Manufacturing Researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a Maintenance Engineer for the Spanish Air Force's F/A-18 fleet. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Composite Materials and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
