Yehonathan Cohen

Yehonathan Cohen is a System Validation Engineer at AST SpaceMobile since August 2021, specializing in writing automation for satellite communications hardware and software systems, as well as implementing tests and calibrations on integrated systems including RF, Power, FPGA, JTAG, and solar panels. Prior experience includes serving as an Intelligence Specialist at AMAREL LTD, where creative thinking and deep learning were essential for operating complex military intelligence systems, and a role as a Tour Guide and Snowboard Instructor at EskiMOski, demonstrating strong management skills. Yehonathan’s background also includes serving as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, gaining extensive knowledge in sophisticated intelligence combat systems and executing operational missions under pressure. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, expected to graduate in 2024.
