David Cavill

David Cavill has been the Director of Business Intelligence at Asta Funding since January of 2002. David was promoted to this position after serving as the Business Analyst Manager and being responsible for the management of the business analyst group and I.T. department. David has been instrumental in developing and launching new business ventures, as well as analyzing business systems to improve performance and reduce costs. David has also performed financial analysis and provided support for accounting information and financial reporting. In their current role, David analyzes new distressed debt portfolios and other financial based portfolios for purchase.

Prior to joining Asta Funding, David worked as the Senior Cash Manager at The CIT Group from January 2000 to December 2001. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's US daily cash position. David was also a trainer for treasury workstation software. Before that, they served as an Associate Treasury Specialist at Prudential from January 1998 to December 2000.

They work with Ricky Stern - SVP, Steven Leidenfrost - CFO, and Alexandra Vivero - International Business Development Manager. David Cavill reports to Gary Stern, Chairman, Founding President & CEO.
