Steve Plater

Steve Plater has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of business intelligence. Steve currently holds the position of Director of Business Intelligence, Finance at GP Strategies Corporation, where they have been since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Lead Business Intelligence Architect, Finance at the same company from October 2020 to March 2023. Before joining GP Strategies Corporation, Steve served as the Lead Technology Architect and Strategist at Dentsu Aegis Network from April 2020 to October 2020. Steve also held the position of Lead BIS Architect at Merkle from July 2016 to April 2020. Additionally, they worked as a BI Consultant at Canon Nanotechnologies from May 2015 to July 2017, and at Giesecke+Devrient from May 2016 to July 2016. Steve's previous experience also includes serving as a Data Manager at the U.S. Government, Department of Health & Human Services, HRSA from August 2015 to February 2016, and as a Lead Database Architect at LinTech Global, Inc. from October 2014 to August 2015. Steve has also worked as an Application Development Manager, DBA at Monogram Foods from September 2011 to September 2014, and as an Application/Database Developer at Recorded Books from February 2009 to May 2010. Steve started their career as a Database Administrator - Consultant at Thomson Reuters from January 2006 to January 2009.

Steve Plater has studied Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at the University of Chicago. Steve has also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the Community College of the Air Force.
