Cindi Sanden

Cindi Sanden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they started their own business called Awaken Travels, where they emphasized the transformative power of travel. Cindi also worked as a Certified Destination Wedding Consultant at Destination Weddings Travel Group from 2018 to 2019. In addition, Cindi has experience in marketing, serving as the Marketing Director at Sanden Solutions since 2021. Cindi is passionate about community involvement and served as the Co-Founder of Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, aiming to enhance city beautification and improvement. Cindi also held positions such as Vice President of the Chattanooga Chapter at ASTA - American Society of Travel Advisors, President Elect of the North Hamilton Council at the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, and Virtual Assistant at The Buddy Effect. Prior to this, they worked as a Travel Agent and Website Owner & Administrator in different organizations. Cindi's diverse background and passion for travel, marketing, and community engagement make their a valuable asset in various professional settings.

Cindi Sanden obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Oregon University, where they also completed a certificate program in Mediation and Conflict Management in 2011. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Social Science from the College of the Redwoods in 2003. Cindi Sanden has also obtained various certifications in tourism and travel-related programs from institutions such as Antigua & Barbuda, Club Med, American Airlines Vacations, Aruba Tourism Authority, AMResorts, Jamaica Tourist Board, Sandals Resorts International, Tourism Vancouver, Princess Cruises, Mexico Tourism Board, and Disney Parks & Resorts.
