Mario Mees

Mario Mees is the current Managing Director at Astadia. Prior to this, they were the Director Sales & Marketing at Anubex from February 2012 to March 2021. Anubex is a company specializing in the renovation of large or complex legacy application software for companies and government organizations. Before their time at Anubex, Mario Mees was the General Manager Services, Central & Eastern Europe at Microsoft from July 2002 to October 2011. In this position, they were responsible for the Services Organization in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), covering all former communistic countries, including Russia. From May 2000 to July 2000, Mario Mees was the Senior Vice President Development and Information Management Services Eur1 at Computer Associates, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for the worldwide sales and marketing activities of the company. Mario recruited and established a complete new commercial team with marketing support in Leuven and Boston and sales reps in Boston, Leuven, London, Paris, Rome and Stockholm. However, the company became short on cash just as they managed to sign up the first financial institutions with alfa software of the package.

Mario Mees has a Master's in Business Administration from KU Leuven and a Master's in Applied Economics and Business Informatics from KU Leuven. Mario also has a Bachelor's in Applied Economics from UHasselt.

They are on a team with Jerry Hooks - CIO & VP, Managed Services, Louis Heymans - Managing Director, and Michele Sardelis - COO. Their manager is Scott Silk, Chairman & CEO.
