Daniyar Zhumagulov

Daniyar Zhumagulov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology transfer and commercialization within academic institutions. Currently serving as the Director of the Technological Centers' Office at Astana Hub since August 2024, Daniyar previously held the position of Director of the Office of Industry Engagement and Commercialization at Nazarbayev University from March 2020 to September 2023, where a successful transition of the Commercialization Office into the university's structure was initiated. Daniyar's earlier role as the Commercialization Office Director at NURIS Private Institution involved establishing a Technology Transfer Office that serviced the entire university. Additional experience includes project management at the National Analytical Center and economics at KAZPHOSPHATE LLC. Daniyar's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and advanced degrees in Management and Public Administration from Narxoz University.
