Kenneth Tan

Research Assistant at Institute of Microelectronics, A*STAR

Kenneth Tan has extensive experience in the field of optoelectronics and microelectronics. Kenneth served as a Research Assistant at the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics from September 2010 to June 2013, followed by a position as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Microelectronics, A*STAR since June 2014. In 2012, Kenneth was a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Ultrahigh Bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS), focusing on photonic integrated chips. Kenneth obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010 and later earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore, where studies centered on nanophotonics, optoelectronic integrated chips, nonlinear optics, silicon photonics, and the design of optoelectronic devices and systems.
