Muhammad Ozalis Omar

Research Engineer at Institute of Microelectronics

Muhammad Ozalis Omar has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Fire and Rescue Specialist with the Singapore Civil Defence Force. Muhammad Ozalis specialized in firefighting and rescue operations and served as a Section Commander. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Laboratory Officer at the Institute of Microelectronics, where they were responsible for wet etch and lithography operations and maintaining SPC charts for various tools. Muhammad Ozalis then joined Advanced Micro Foundry Pte Ltd in 2018, initially as an Assistant Process Engineer, where they operated and sustained lithography equipment and processes. Later, they took on the role of Process Engineer, leading reliability testing and managing procurement plans for critical tools and consumables. In 2021, Muhammad became a Senior Process Engineer at Advanced Micro Foundry Pte Ltd. Currently, they are a Research Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, starting in 2022.

Muhammad Ozalis Omar pursued a Diploma in Micro & Nanotechnology from Republic Polytechnic from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Managing Your Personal Investments" from LinkedIn in September 2022, "National Coaching Accreditation Programme Technical Level One (Floorball)" from Sport Singapore in July 2013, "National Coaching Accreditation Programme Theory Level One" from Sport Singapore in October 2012, and "NYAA - The Bronze Level" from the National Youth Achievement Award Council in April 2006.
