Joseph Delong

Joseph Delong has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Joseph is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Astaria since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Sushi in 2021.

Before joining Astaria and Sushi, Joseph worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ConsenSys from October 2018 to October 2020. Joseph also served as the Chief Architect at 9th Gear Technologies for a brief period from May 2018 to November 2018.

In addition, Joseph worked as the Lead Blockchain Developer at Arithmetica, a platform for computational math problems, from April 2018 to October 2018.

Before transitioning to the tech industry, Joseph had a career in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Technician. Joseph maintained electronic warfare systems on B1-B Bomber aircraft and participated in launching and deployment maintenance in Al-Udeid, Qatar from December 2004 to December 2008.

Prior to joining the Air Force, Joseph also gained experience in software development as a Research Engineer II and Software Developer Integrator III at USAA. Joseph worked on developing an end-to-end mortgage loan origination solution using IBM Websphere applications server, Java EJB, Struts, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, SOAP, MISMO XML, and Oracle DB. Joseph was with USAA from May 2013 to June 2018.

Joseph Delong attended McMurry University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
