Espen Myklebust

Espen Myklebust is currently the Chief Commercial Officer & Head of Product at Astat. Prior to this, they worked as a Management Consultant for PwC, where they were part of the Fintech Squad in Risk Advisory Services, Financial Services. In this role, they acted as a strategic advisor on emerging technology for clients within the banking and financial services industry, including Norway's biggest banks, payment facilitators and finance institutions.

Espen has a strong background in product development and commercial strategy, which they have utilised to great effect in their role at Astat. In less than 8 months, they built a fully digital card solution geared towards helping the SME segment, for under 500 000 euros. Espen is also responsible for leading the development team to build a customer friendly, secure and versatile banking product.

Under Espen's leadership, Astat has won numerous awards, including the Mastercard Lighthouse People's Choice Award, the University of Oxford Creative Destruction Lab and Huawei AppsUp: Best app in Europe. They have also been recognised as one of the top 100 fintech companies in Abu Dhabi.

Espen Myklebust attended Hult International Business School where they received their Master of Science in International Business. Espen is also a graduate of USN, where they received their Bachelors of Science in Economics and Leadership with a specialisation in Event Management and the Experience Economy. Espen is also a Class Representative, Co-Founder and Vice President of Hult Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Club, and a Board Member of Hult Wine Club.
