Pete Moore

Pete Moore has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pete began their career as a Manufacturing Associate at Daktronics in 1996 and later worked as an Engineer at Positech from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they joined Columbus McKinnon Corporation as an R&D Engineer, where they contributed to the design and development of new products for the tire recycling industry and worked as a Design Engineer on a patent for Liberator shredding technology. Following that, Pete joined Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. in 2005 and served as a Design Engineer for over 16 years. In this role, they designed and developed new vibratory screens, feeders, conveyors for the material handling industry, and worked on improving cost reduction of aggregate washing systems. Currently, Pete is working at Astec Industries, Inc. as a New Product Development Manager, starting in 2021.

Pete Moore pursued their education with an initial enrollment at Rochester Community College from 1990 to 1994. There, they completed their transfer studies in the general field. Following this, they attended South Dakota State University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
