Luis Duenhas

Luis Duenhas is a New Product Development Manager at Metalfrio Solutions since October 2025, with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Previously, Luis held the position of Corporate Engineering Manager at COLORMAQ from February 2018 to September 2025, where leadership of an engineering team and product development laboratory facilitated innovation, cost reduction, and quality improvement. As a Lead Development Engineer, Luis guided cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes through quality analysis and supplier development. Prior experience at Whirlpool Latin America from January 2012 to January 2018 included roles as Project Engineer, where engagement in the product lifecycle encompassed design and regulatory compliance, and as Jr. Technology Engineer focused on algorithm development for laundry appliances. Luis began with an internship in algorithm support for new projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Manufacturing, System Dynamics and Instrumentation from USP and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from USP.
