Ben Nathan

Ben Nathan serves as the Risk Management Lead at Astellas Pharma since September 2019, overseeing the global Risk Management Programme and Information Security Due Diligence for Third Parties within the DigitalX Risk & Compliance team. Nathan's responsibilities include creating risk management processes and documentation, as well as implementing the GRC tool, OneTrust. Previously, Nathan held the role of EMEA Information Security Lead in the Global Ethics & Compliance Division, focusing on security frameworks in the EMEA region. Nathan has extensive experience in various positions related to information security, having worked as a Principal Information Security Consultant at Fifth Step Limited and as an Information Security Consultant at Hytec Information Security and Accenture. Nathan's earlier roles include Global Functions Data Privacy Advisor at Shell and Operational Security Lead at the UK Ministry of Justice. Nathan's career began at RM Data Solutions, progressing from Head of Technical Services to IS Manager and Web Developer. Nathan holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Surrey.
