Gergana Georgieva

Gergana Georgieva, PharmD, RPh, currently serves as the Associate Director of Medical Affairs in Oncology at Astellas Pharma since April 2024. Prior to this role, Gergana held multiple positions at Astellas Pharma US from September 2018 to April 2024, including Senior Manager for both Medical Affairs and Medical Information in Oncology. Early experience includes working as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens and completing various pharmacy clerkships across several healthcare institutions, where responsibilities involved medication reconciliation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and patient education. Gergana holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from UIC Pharmacy School and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Loyola University Chicago. Research experience includes significant contributions to studies related to breast cancer and molecular biology techniques.
