Jie Li

Jie Li currently serves as Executive Director and Physician Scientist Lead at Astellas Gene Therapies, focusing on the translation of Gene Therapy Research into early clinical development since April 2023. Prior to this role, Jie Li held multiple positions at Astellas Pharma US, including Acting TA Head of Gene & Cell Therapy and Oncology and Executive Director, Head of Pharmacovigilance Safety Science. Experience also includes leading US Pharmacovigilance at Greenwich Biosciences, serving as Senior Director and Global Safety Lead in Gene Therapy at Sanofi Genzyme, and directing Drug Safety and Benefit Risk Management at Biogen Idec. Jie Li's educational background includes a Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a Master's degree from California State University, San Diego.
