Karen Erken

Karen Erken MS has extensive experience in commercial forecasting and analytics in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Commercial Forecasting at Astellas Pharma since 2018. Previous roles at Astellas include Associate Director and Commercial Insights Lead for Xospata. Prior to Astellas, Karen led Women's Health Oncology Forecasting at AstraZeneca and worked as a Senior Consultant. At AbbVie, Karen held positions as Director of Global Forecasting and Senior Manager, where responsibilities included commercial valuation and development of long-range planning forecasts. Early roles at Abbott and G.D. Searle Company involved pipeline forecasting, decision analysis, and deep analytical expertise. Karen earned a BS in Chemistry from Creighton University and an MS in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington.
