Lauren Simpson

Lauren Simpson PhD is an accomplished professional in medical education and communications, currently serving as Associate Director at Astellas Pharma since May 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held various positions within Astellas Pharma Europe from July 2018 to May 2023, including Acting Director of External Engagement and Senior Manager in Medical Excellence. Lauren's earlier career includes experience as an Account Manager at MJL and roles in MediTech Media and Wellcome Trust, where proficiency in strategic communication and account management was developed. Educationally, Lauren obtained a PhD in Cardiovascular Medical Research from King's College London, following a Master of Research from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds.
