Sam Kwong

Sam Kwong currently serves as the Head of Commercial Communications for Global Markets at Astellas Pharma, leading a team to enhance global commercial strategy and elevate engagement efforts. Previously, Sam held the position of Head of Communications for the International Markets Region at Astellas Pharma, overseeing regional communications across diverse markets. Prior to Astellas, Sam worked at GSK, where roles included Head of Comms for Greater China & Intercontinental Region and Global Corporate Media Relations Manager. Early career experiences include leadership roles in external relations at The University of Hong Kong and media affairs at the Vocational Training Council. Sam Kwong holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from The University of Hong Kong and an MPhil in Political Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
