Tatsuya Ono

Tatsuya Ono is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Director and Legal Lead for Privacy & Data Security for the APAC region at Astellas Pharma since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tatsuya held positions including Director and Legal Counsel for Privacy & Data Security at the same company and completed a legal apprenticeship at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan. Tatsuya's extensive experience includes senior legal management roles at Salesforce, DXC Technology, and Huawei, alongside earlier positions at Hitachi and Samsung C&T Corporation. Tatsuya's academic credentials feature a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Tsukuba, a Master of Science in Asian Politics from SOAS University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Waseda University.
