Tom Bauer

Tom Bauer is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in digital innovation and information technology within the pharmaceutical industry. Since April 2011, Tom has served as the Head of Digital Innovation at Astellas Pharma, where responsibilities include setting the global strategy for Microsoft 365 adoption and engaging with various advisory groups. Previously, Tom held the role of Assistant Director of Information Technology at Astellas, overseeing SharePoint and legal systems. Prior experience at Takeda Pharmaceuticals involved leading a team of developers and providing architectural guidance. Earlier roles included consultancy at Technium, senior development at Azamba, and development at Geneer. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
