Omar Elsewify

Omar Elsewify is a skilled engineer specializing in chassis development and vehicle dynamics, currently working at Hitachi Astemo since September 2023. Previously, Omar served as an ADAS Vehicle Performance Engineer at Ford Motor Company, conducting real-world vehicle testing to generate performance metrics. Experience includes an internship at Porsche AG, where contributions were made to a race car data analysis software and test session operations. Training includes a project at Stanford University's ME310 program, focused on product design and software development for Takeda Pharmaceutical. Research at The University of Manchester involved numerical modeling of thermal management systems for lithium-ion batteries, along with teamwork in engine and drive-train engineering for the UoM Formula Student team.
