Edward Till has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and organizations. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Housing Advisor at East Hampshire District Council, where they provided housing advice and assistance to those in need. Edward also undertook project and research work to develop and progress the housing needs service during their time there.
In 2008, Edward joined Fareham Borough Council as a Senior Housing Options Officer, supervising a team responsible for housing advice and homelessness prevention services. Edward played a key role in implementing and reviewing the Council's Homelessness Strategy and improving the customer journey through continuous improvement initiatives. Later, they became the Housing Options Manager, overseeing the housing options, homelessness, and allocations services, while providing technical guidance and advice to staff.
From 2013 to 2015, Edward worked as a Senior Housing Officer (Enabling) at Fareham Borough Council, focusing on enabling and managing the delivery of new affordable housing projects. This included working on housing schemes such as general purpose housing, sheltered housing, and an exemplar passivhaus scheme.
Since 2015, Edward has been with Aster Group UK, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to the role of Development Manager. As a Project Manager, they successfully managed the development of various new housing schemes, handling tasks such as establishing relationships, identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful delivery of affordable homes. In their current role as Head of New Business and Delivery, Edward continues to contribute their expertise in project management and driving new business initiatives for the company.

Edward Till began their education at The Hayling School, where they obtained 9 GCSEs with grades ranging from A to C. Edward then attended HSDC Havant & South Downs from 1997 to 1999, where they earned 3 A Levels in Sociology, Literature, and Mathematics. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Portsmouth from 2000 to 2003, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Social Policy & Sociology. Edward continued their education at De Montfort University from 2005 to 2007, achieving a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing.
