Hemant Vinchure

Hemant Vinchure has extensive work experience in the field of ASIC design and hardware engineering. Hemant is currently working as the Sr Director and Head of ASIC Design at Astera Labs since July 2021. Before that, they worked at Pensando Systems as a Member of Technical Staff from February 2017 to July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr Technical Leader and ASIC Manager at Cisco Systems from May 2005 to February 2017. Hemant has also worked as a Sr ASIC Design Engineer at Topspin Communications from 2000 to 2005, and as a Hardware Design Engineer/Manager at First Virtual Communications from 1993 to 2000. Hemant started their career as a VLSI Design Engineer at Silicon Interfaces from 1992 to 1993, and earlier as a Hardware R&D Engineer at crompton greaves ltd from 1989 to 1992.

From 1985 to 1989, Hemant Vinchure attended COEP Technological University, although there is no information regarding their degree or field of study.
