Neel Mehta has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles in the aerospace industry. Neel currently serves as the Co-chair of the FICCI Committee on Drones since 2022. Neel is also the Director and Co-founder of Asteria Aerospace since 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Rockwell Collins from 2008 to 2011 as a Systems Engineer, where they played a crucial role in designing integrated flight control systems for prominent customers in the aviation industry. Furthermore, Neel gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2008. Neel also served as a Graduate Technical Intern at Rockwell Collins in 2007, and as an Engineering Intern at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in 2004.
Neel Mehta received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University between 2002 and 2005. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2008.
