Steven Guilford has extensive work experience in the field of software analysis, publishing, and entrepreneurship. Steven started their career in 1982 at Glenn A Barber & Assoc. where they worked as a software analyst, gaining experience in systems programming and application programming. Steven then joined International Digital Scientific Inc. in 1988 as a software analyst.
In 1990, Guilford founded MingleWood Data Systems, LLC., which later evolved into dbPlugins. As the Founder, CEO, and CTO of MingleWood Data Systems, they worked for over 20 years as a sole proprietor software analyst, publisher, and entrepreneur.
In 2011, Guilford founded dbPlugins where they served as the Founder, CEO, and CTO. dbPlugins developed technology that allowed for the easy integration of 3rd party APIs into the Oracle database, enhancing the logical capability of the database.
In 2015, Guilford founded AsterionDB where they held the positions of Founder, CEO, and CTO. AsterionDB focused on creating a new architecture that consolidated data from the file system into the database, providing a secure and efficient storage solution.
Throughout their career, Guilford has demonstrated expertise in Oracle Database, data integration, and software architecture.
Steven Guilford attended Webb School of California from 1978 to 1980, where they obtained their HS Diploma. From 1980 to 1982, they pursued Undergraduate Studies at Tulane University.
