Andrew McCracken

Andrew McCracken is an experienced professional in external affairs and communications, currently serving as the Director of External Affairs at Asthma + Lung UK since November 2025. Prior experience includes roles at The King's Fund, where Andrew held multiple positions including Assistant Director of External Affairs and interim Director of Communications from July 2018 to October 2025. Andrew also worked at National Voices as Head of Communications and at London South Bank University in a similar capacity. Prior to these roles, Andrew's experience includes various communications and public affairs positions at the Royal College of Physicians and Kenyon Fraser, along with in-house roles at NHS Liverpool Community Health and Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Andrew holds a Diploma with Distinction in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a BA Hons in English Language with Linguistics from The University of Sheffield.
