Anna Bartels

Director, Access To Care at ASTHO

Anna Bartels has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations. Anna started their career as an Intern and later became a Staff Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012. In 2013, Anna joined the Children's Hospital Association as a Coordinator of Public Policy. Anna then moved to the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials in 2016, where they held positions such as Analyst for Health Systems Transformation and Senior Analyst for Clinical to Community Connections. Anna's most recent role is the Director of Access to Care, which they assumed in April 2019.

Anna Bartels received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health and Medical Policy, Global Health from George Mason University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Delaware from 2007 to 2011. Anna also obtained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in May 2022 and Graphic Design Specialization by California Institute of the Arts on Coursera in 2021.
