Nicholas Porter, MPH, has diverse work experience in the fields of environmental health, research, and laboratory analysis. From 2016 to present, they have been employed at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, initially starting as an Analyst and working their way up to the role of Director of Environmental Health. Prior to that, Nicholas worked as a Research Assistant at George Washington University from 2014 to 2016. Nicholas was also a Graduate Intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 2015. Before pursuing their graduate studies, Nicholas worked as a Laboratory Analyst at PRO-LAB® Inc. in 2014, where they analyzed allergenic mold growth and performed air sample analysis. Nicholas'searliest work experience dates back to their tenure as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Florida State University from 2011 to 2013, where they contributed to various experiments studying induced chemical defenses in plants and managed a team as the Building Manager of the Ogelsby Student Union.
Nicholas Porter, MPH holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental Health Science and Policy from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, completed from 2014 to 2016. Nicholas also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Florida State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
