Armin Khatoonabadi

Armin Khatoonabadi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology strategy and engineering. Currently serving as a Technology Strategy Board Member at A3 Vision & Imaging since January 2022 and as Technical Lead for the E57 New Test Method for Performance of Machine Vision Systems workgroup at ASTM International since September 2021, Armin has demonstrated leadership in both roles. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Armin founded and served as COO and CEO of Apera from October 2016 to May 2024. Previous advisory work in the automotive sector at MTT Innovation Inc. and volunteer leadership as Case Study Manager for the Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI reflect a diverse skill set. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from Sharif University of Technology, an MSc in Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a BSc in Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
