Jake Burns

Jake Burns is an experienced technician in the motorsport and automotive sectors with a strong background in assembly and maintenance. Currently serving as an Assembly Technician for Aston Martin F1 Team since November 2024, Jake is responsible for building and servicing car components while ensuring meticulous record-keeping and communication of any issues. Prior to this role, Jake worked as a Motorsport Car Build Technician at Prodrive, where responsibilities included building and maintaining high-performance vehicles for motorsport competitions. Additionally, Jake has held positions ranging from Lead Prototype Technician at Arrival to various roles in renewable energy and automotive repair. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Motorsport from the University of Central Lancashire and various certifications in automotive mechanics.
