Melanie Ridgers

Melanie Ridgers is an accomplished test engineer with extensive experience in the Formula One industry, currently working with the Aston Martin F1 Team since August 2024. Prior to this role, Melanie held positions at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team from January 2013 to August 2024, where responsibilities included senior test and development technician tasks. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Wind Tunnel Manager at Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 from July 2009 to January 2013, and earlier roles at Brawn GP, BAR Honda F1, Cosworth Racing, and Pi Research, among others. Melanie's expertise encompasses data analysis, test driving simulations, and electronic systems testing, complemented by a foundational education in Primary Education and Music from the University of Winchester.
