Nathan Sykes

Nathan Sykes is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Chief Engineer - Methodology at Aston Martin F1 Team since July 2025. Sykes has held several key positions in the automotive and motorsport industries, including IT, Business Systems and Data Science Director (CIO) at Alpine from January 2021 to July 2025, and various leadership roles at Renault between January 2018 and January 2021, including Business Systems and Data Science Director, Chief Data Officer, and Head of Data Science. Additionally, Sykes spent over 16 years at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology, advancing through roles focused on numerical tools and technologies. Sykes earned a degree from Loughborough University between 1993 and 1998.
