Ed Bower

Ed Bower is an accomplished professional in the automotive engineering sector, currently serving as Senior Expert in Innovation and Advanced Technology and Head of Electrification at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since November 2017. In this role, Ed oversees high voltage powertrain systems, including battery packs, eMotors, inverters, DCDC converters, and on-board chargers across all platforms. Prior to this, Ed held various positions at Ricardo from September 2004 to November 2017, culminating as Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included leading driveline and transmission R&D projects. Ed's educational background includes a Master's degree in Automotive Technology Management from Cranfield University and a Master of Engineering with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick.
