Joanne Winship

Joanne Winship is an experienced legal and compliance professional, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Compliance at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since September 2022. In this role, Joanne leads the development and implementation of ethics and compliance strategies, including the creation of the company's first Code of Conduct. Prior to Aston Martin, Joanne was the Director of Legal Compliance at Tata Steel Europe, where responsibilities included the development of the Group's risk management framework in various regulatory areas. Joanne has also held roles as Legal Manager at Angola LNG Marketing Ltd and Legal Counsel at BP, providing legal advice on international trade and commercial law. Joanne's early career at Royal Mail Group plc as Legal Director involved advising on competition law and regulatory matters during significant industry changes. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King's College London and a Law Society Finals degree from the College of Law, York.
