Philip McCarthy is an experienced mechanical design professional with a robust background in the automotive and high-performance engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Mechanical Design - ePowertrain at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since August 2024, Philip previously held positions including Senior Mechanical Integration Engineer at Rimac Energy, and Mechanical Design Engineer roles at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, Integral Powertrain, and the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. Philip's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Master of Science in Electric Vehicle Engineering from the University West in Sweden.
