Simon Newton

Simon Newton has extensive experience in the automotive industry, holding prominent engineering and performance roles. Currently serving as Director of Vehicle Performance and Director of Vehicle Engineering at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since March 2022, Simon previously was the Senior Director of Vehicle Engineering at Faraday Future from March 2016 to March 2022. Prior experience includes Chief Engineer for Vehicle Attributes at Williams F1, as well as roles at Bentley Motors Ltd and Lotus Engineering focusing on vehicle dynamics and high-performance vehicle development. Simon holds a degree in Law from the University of Birmingham and a degree in Automotive Engineering from Coventry University.
