Zhivko Staynov

Zhivko Staynov is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in product creation and programme management. Currently serving as the Head of Product Creation Process and Governance at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since April 2024, Staynov previously held roles including Programme Manager at Group Lotus and Programme/Strategy Leader at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed developing company-wide powertrain strategies and leading cross-departmental reviews. With a background in vehicle dynamics and engineering management, Staynov has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, process improvement, and team leadership across various automotive projects. An alumnus of Liverpool John Moores University, Staynov earned a Master of Engineering in Automotive Engineering and has contributed as a design judge for IMechE Formula Student and led student racing teams.
