Dave Collins

Dave Collins is an experienced head greenkeeper with a career spanning several decades in the horticulture and sports ground maintenance sectors. Currently serving as the Head Greenkeeper at Lickey Hills Golf Course since March 1997, Dave has also been part of Aston Villa Football Club's matchday groundstaff since July 2001, responsible for critical pitch preparations and maintenance. Previous roles include Head Greenkeeper at Widney Manor Golf Course and Team Leader at Rover plc. Dave began as an Assistant Greenkeeper at Handsworth Golf Course, following education at Askham Bryan College of Agriculture and Horticulture, and Barr Beacon.
