Dean Madden

Dean Madden is an experienced full-time Academy Physiotherapist at Aston Villa Football Club since April 2001, specializing in the rehabilitation and treatment of players while managing a sports science and medicine team. With a background as a part-time Academy Physiotherapist and 1st Team Sports Masseur, Dean has expertise in manual therapy techniques and soft tissue injury management. Prior roles include part-time Sports Massage Lecturer at Birmingham Metropolitan College and MSK Physiotherapist and Ergonomic Assessor at Coventry City Council. Dean's career began in the British Army as a Physical Training Instructor, and educational qualifications include an MSc in Strength and Conditioning and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University.
