Brian R. Kirschbaum

Brian Kirschbaum is a Partner at Astra. Prior to joining Astra, Mr. Kirschbaum was responsible for investments in the technology-enabled services and healthcare sectors for the Buyouts group of American Capital. Previously, Mr. Kirschbaum was at Relativity Capital, a middle market private equity firm, where he evaluated and executed investments in the aerospace and defense, industrial, and services sectors and The Carlyle Group, where he focused on investments in the aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. In addition, Mr. Kirschbaum worked in J.P. Morgan’s Financial Sponsor Group, where he executed a variety of private equity-related mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Mr. Kirschbaum has been actively involved with investments in Booz Allen Hamilton, ARINC Incorporated, Meadows Behavioral Health and Alcami Holdings. Mr. Kirschbaum received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB, cum laude, from Princeton University.
