Gani Abaydildinov

Gani Abaydildinov is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Broadfield UK since December 2024, Gani has been the Founder and CEO of Astra Mining Ltd (UK) since January 2018. Previous positions include General Counsel at Eldwick Law from August 2019 to December 2024, General Counsel at Cubism Law from August 2017 to August 2019, and General Counsel for a Private Family Office from 2016 to 2017. Gani also held significant legal roles at Equus Petroleum Plc as Head of Legal and Company Secretary (2014-2016), and as Legal Counsel at a Family Office from 2008 to 2014. Earlier in the career, Gani served as Legal Adviser at BG Group (2006-2008) and had a brief tenure as Associate at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae Law Firm in 2006. The legal journey began as Deputy Director of the legal department and Corporate Secretary at Caspian Gas Corp (2004-2006). Gani holds a Diploma in Law from Kazakh State Law Academy and is pursuing Energy Studies at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee.
